* By the attendance of the Dean of college of science for women the Asst. prof Dr. Nada Abed Al Majeed Al Ansariand the Asst. prof. Dr. Khaleel Hadi Al-Baiati, the head of physics department ,physics department ,held the 2nd day meeting about the 1st scientific conference activities, whereas the meeting was about the solid physics and 

materials on Al Musstafa Hall ,headedby the Asst.prof Dr. Nader Habbobi and the Asst. prof Dr. Nada Kudaier Abbas ,in this conference the participated  researchers produced a show to their researches .

    Dr. Nada Al Ansari, the dean, visited the posters show that established there and which included posters of (Those who gained Nobel prize in physics)prepared and designed by the Asst. prof Dr. Khalid Rashad Al Rawi ,the Asst. prof Dr. Sabbah Nuri ,and the Asst.inst. Dusser Hussain ,also the posters of(Pollution by noise and ways of protection) prepared and designed by the

Asst. inst. Dusser Hussain .The Dean thanked this work and showed her support to such wonderful activities .

    The Dean also looked at the scientific and laboratory devices show which are produced show which are produced by Nbei Al Salam Company for scientific devices, and she listened to full explanation of the displayed devices.

* On the 22nd of March 2011, Physics Dept. by the attendance of the head of the department the Asst. prof Dr.Khaleel H. Al Baiati, and the members of the teaching staff, and within the cultural season, the department established a lecture entitled “The count of nuclear scattering element to the nuclears number”, on Dr. Amina  A. Ramzi Hall ,the lecture said by the MA. Candidate Nada Esmaiel showed  through it an explanation to to the advanced stages of

the work in the entitled research under the supervision of Dr. Khaleel H. Al-Baiati, the student Shaimaa Saudun produced a lecture about her entitled research “Designing anet to produce not thermal blazma under an atmospheric an ordinary  pressure and using it in Al becteria technique “,under the supervision of the Ass. prof Dr. Hammed Hafed ,through the lecture the student produced an explanation about the fulfilled work and the future work ,the attendance from the teaching staff of the department ,discuaaed the two Ma. Canditate students and produced the possible suggestions to avoid the obstacles.

* Physics department hold a meeting on Dr. Amina A. Ramzi hall on wenesday the 16th of March 2011 and withen the first scientific cinference activities ,this meeting was about laser and optics heart ,the leader of the meeting was the Asst.prof Dr. Abed Al Hadi Muttasher  and the determiner Asst.prof Dr.Raffah Abed Al Hadi ,whereas  the Asst. prof Dr. Battul discussed her two precious

researches entitled “The use of intensives of equivalent cut and the Kascarene to improve sun cells “.and “Hajeen centre to improve  the efficiency of sun board tranformation. this research produced by Dr. Battul with the assistance of Dr. Ali H. Al Hamdani ,and Dr. Kammal S. Al Ani, Dr. Khawla Jammel her research entitled “The influencing element on the Holographic optics elements “with the assistance of Dr. Adnan Saleh ,and Mohammed Eal.

    The researcher Hadeel  A. Hameed also discussed her research entitled “A comparison   correspondent lighting system which produced by her and others like Dr. Sammer Younis and Dr. Hani Jassem Kabesh.

* By the attendance of the representatives of high minister office and the representative of the minister of higher education and scientific research , Mr. Abed Al Majeed Hamza, the representative of Baghdad university Dr. Bahaa Tuima, Mr. Mzen Manueel the assistant of Al Nahreen college leader ,

the representatives of the Ministry of foreign affairs, environment Ministry ,technology and science Ministry ,Ministry of industry, Ministry of youth and sport. And a number of college Deans and head s of departments , physics Dept. held the first scientific conference under the slogan (By science and Technology Nations developed) the conference title is (Modern techniques of physics and it’s applications) on Wednesday the 16th of March 2011 on college of science for women on Al Mustafa Hall.

The opening program included the speech of the representative of Baghdad university ,the editorial speech is said by Dr. Khaleel Hadi Al Baiati the head of physics department and Dr. Nadalah Hassan Kadem the head of the preparation committee of the conference ,also there was a Banorama show to physics department included a historical introduction about this department ,it’s achievements ,the labs and the devices that are available in this department.

      The conference also included rewards to the responsibles of this conference ,and the head of physics  department from the period (1984-2011), the avant-gardes also rewarded ,the gold medal is given to the first students in the year (2010-2011), Excellent students are also awarded.

       After that the first meeting  of the conference started headed by the asst. prof Dr.Mazen Manoeel Elyas and the determiner the Asst. prof Dr. Sabah Nuri ,the meeting included a lecture by the Asst. prof Dr. Sammer Younis entitled “The optics fiber and it’s application “an explanation of the optics fiber is introduced ,it’s use and it’s applications ,Dr. Essa M. Kadem presented a lecture entitled “the therme photography in medicine” ,an explanation to the essence of thermo photography and it’s application  is introduced .

     The Asst. prof Dr. Luai Edward George produced a lecture antitled “Al kesoriat:Is nature has an instinctive symmetrical.

       The researcher Dawood Aubed also discussed his research entitled “The study of  specter of linear absorption and Floradation  to the natural honey as an active laser medium “

* For the sake of constructing and developing  student's abilities of  the valid conversation and for the purpose of acquainting of the experiences of some students , Basma Khalid, a student  at Physics Dept.  fourth year ,evening classes , on the 22^th of Feb. presented her lecture about her experience in the students exchange among countries .The students discussed in a way that reflect the success of this experience .

* According to our belief after the Iraqi people circumstances, to re construct the efforts to produce the capabilities  and organize the programs that participate in preparing Iraqi young men in a good way ,and according to our belief in the importance of the integration of scientific programs that are presents in the classes with the extra classes activities  to prepare graduated  students with a scientific experiences , self confidence,

and personal abilities to participate in constructing  better life to our great people ,so the denary of college of sciences for women that represented by it's respectable  dean Dr. Nada Al Ansari and the respectable manager of the continuous education unit Dr. Perry Habeb ,held a meeting with the manager of Kareem Wassfi institution for art and creativity ,on Sunday the 20th of Feb. 2011 to prepare the college to contract with the institution for the sake of spreading  the artistic culture and the formalities of etiquette between the college members and college students.

* Physics Dept. at the college  established a lecture  entitled" The effect  of Mobile phone on the human health" on Tuesday the 22^th of Feb.  on Dr. Amina A. Ramzi Hall, and with the attendance of the asst. prof. Dr. Khalel Hadi Al-Baiati and the teaching staff members and within the activities of  the cultural period. Dr. Aleaa Hussein Ali presented her lecture and she explained the   electromagnetism  waves  and  the

communication towers the health damages that resulted from the use of Mobile phones and the good ways of Mobile phone use.

* With the attendance of the artistic commissioner Dr. Ammar H. Azez ,the leader of Baghdad university asst. prof. Dr. Mussa Al Mussawi, the  scientific assistant of the university leader ,Dr. Read Aziz ,the dean of the college of science for women the asst. prof Dr. Nada Al Ansari ,the responsible of the  university cultural relations  ,the head of physics Dept. asst. prof. Dr. Nadalah Hassan K. , the instructors of Physics Dept., (Dr. Khalel H. Al Baiati, the asst. prof. Dr. Khalid Rashad  Al Rawi, Dr. Fares Ebrahem , the responsible of the exchanging of radiation  sources , and Dr. Fekrat at Biology Dept), a meeting was held with a delegation from Texas University heading by Blert Kaps  and Mr. Peter Larsen and the US. Embassy representative at Baghdad, the meeting discussed the ability to open Master study on the health Physics specification and preparing the curricula for the pre graduated study.

 *With the care of Dr. Nada Al Anssari, the dean of the college the Physics Dept. opened  the ultra vocal waves lab at Tuesday the28th of Dec.2010  with the attendance of the head of the Dept. Dr. Nedala Hassan Khadem and all the invited head  departments ,a number of  instructors at the Dept. ,attend the students of  the  medical physics Dept.

Dr. Essa Mohammed Khadem, the lab supervisor introduced a summarizing explanation about the aim and the nature of the study course at the Dept. the vocal waves lab is considered one of the essential labs for 3rd stage students /at physics Dept. ,the students trained at this lab at the inspection s with the use of Al sonar device .The explanation ways are different as pictures ,video films, and educational (CD) with the assistance of the internet and the use of the show program) power point. (

 *With the invitation of the respective dean of  the science college for  women ,madam Eman Al Barazanchi introduced a lecture about (the role of the woman at the governorate council) at Sunday the 26th of Dec. 2010 ,at10:30 and on computer hall with the attendance of  college members  and a number of college  students from all departments .Dr Eman talked about the honorable

role of the Iraqi woman all the previous years and the complete achievements as well as the challenges that they faced at this period .After the finishing of this lecture ,a conversation between the lecturer and the students arouses ,whereas the discussed a number of the students personal problems ,Dr. Eman  showed her readiness to receive the students at her office  and help them to solve their problems.

* Mr. Nassar Al Rubiaei, the leader participated in the TOFEL test at college of science for women, Baghdad university, this step is considered incomparable from the rulers in the new Iraq, it is worth mentioning that Al Rubaiei visited the centre of TOEFL test several times for the purpose of  registration and participation in the test No.22 and according to the table that are

prepared from the TOEFL test centre at Baghdad university, this and Mr. Nassar treated with the mechanism of the presentation to the test without any resorting to deanery of the college or any other place ,this refers to the humility and submission  to the instructions and the reliable mechanisms.

     It is mentioned that the TOEFL center at the continuous education unit established and worked with the  coordination of the main center at the leadership of Baghdad university, for the purpose of  The  college continuous efforts to develop the scientific level of the students and all the college members ,especially that most of  the scholarships that are available require gaining TOEFL degree.

     In appreciation to this behavior ,the denary of the college of science for women that are presented by Dr. Nada Al Ansari the dean of the college though to welcome Mr. AlRubaei in the conference of the college in its10th meeting  in the 14th of Dec.2010 to discuss the reality of the higher education and the college instructor ,the members of the council showed their admiration  in the behavior of Mr. AlRubaie ,the conversation and the discussion was about the ways of growth of the higher education institutions and setting the instruction system pilings and the reduction of the exceptions from the restrictions that are influence the reputation and validity of higher education in Iraq,since all offered their efforts faithfully to fulfill the scientific level that is suitable in the anew Iraq among the nations.    

 *A workshop  established with the assistance of Al Amal session ,one of the civil society organization to deliver the 16th days operations against violence  with woman and under the slogan "together …to end the violence against woman in Iraq".25 students participated  from all the departments ,since they were free from study for two days ,28th and29th of Nov. and on the continuous education unit hall at our college ,the

plan of this workshop is to hold the first meeting by the Mrs.dean of the college Dr.Nada Al Ansari  with the attendance of the proxy manager  the instructor Hanaa Kamel and a number of the human rights instructors at the college , The instructors of Al Amal session gave lectures about the Gender concept and the existence distinguishing at the social type .The meeting in the 2nd day also included lectures a text of  convention to eradicate all forms of woman distinction and the concept of violence.

The continuous education unit activity  :

* A test of level determination at English language that is prepared for the TOEFL course is done .

* The 21rst TOEFL session is opened at Sunday 14th of Nov.2010.

* Atest of level determination that is specified with the TOEFL test is done at28th ofNov.2010.

* Starting of IC3 session at Monday the 22th of Nov .2010.

* By the care of the leader of Baghdad university Dr. Mussa Al-Mussawi ,The first scientific conference is held under the slogan “Biology is confluents that are flows for the sake of serving Iraq”. This conference is organized by Biology Dept. at college of science for women with the participating of academics and researchers from different Iraqi Universities on Al Mustafa hall at the same college from (10-11) of Sep .2010.

      The opening of this conference is done by reading holly Quraan, then the dean Dr. Nada Al Ansari speech, after that the speech of Dr. Mohammed Abed Al Hadi G. the head of Biology Dept. and the head of the preparation committee ,then the consultant of environment ministry Dr. Abed Al Zahraa Al Lami presented his lecture entitled "reserving the verifying of Biology in Iraq". Also the prime minister consultant Dr. Mudaffer Abood attended the conference and a large number of attendances of instructors, academics, and researchers from different Iraqi universities as well as the representatives of all Iraqi ministries

      During the two days of the conference, more than fifteen researchers discussed about the six main topics included (Biology, Zoology, Microscope Biology, environment and pollution science, Technical Biology, Genetics and partial Biology).

*The continuous education unit at college of science for women established TOEFL test under the guardianship of Dr. Nada Al Ansari ,the dean of the college and with the attendance of a supervisions committee from the continuous education and developing centre at Baghdad university on Tuesday the11th of May 2010 and with the participation of 13 examinees at the electronic education hall which is established recently and

which is provided by the most recent electronic educational instruments ,in the future the unit intended to make the test on Tuesday every week.

* The mathematics Dept. at college of science for women established its 3rd scientific conference by the guardianship of the Mrs. Dean of the college Dr. Nada Al Ansari ,entitled "Mathematics is in our life in past and present "on al Mustafa hall on Monday morning the17th of May 2010., Dr. Abed Al Majeed H. Nasser ,the higher education minister consultant is hosted ,also the

instructor Thanaa Abbas ,the general manager for the artistic states at the central computing device and Dr. Saleem Al Kutubi from Al Kuffa university ,some of the Mathematics Dept. students activities intervened the conference.

* The Artistic activity unit at the college organized the 2nd carnival of poetry to the college students by the guardianship of the Mrs. The dean of the college, at11th of May 2010 ,the students from all the Depts. Said a variety of poems about home and mother love in addition to the debates in poetry Dr. Saad, the manager of the Artistic activity at Baghdad university attend and a number of instructors and teachers.

* A according to the instructions of the respectable dean of the college, a number of instructors and students of college of science for women  participated in the honoring festival by the high respectable minister  of higher education and scientific research to the Iraqi space man captain Fareed Lafta at the ministry building the 28th of April 2010 with the attendance of  the leaders of universities, deans, college instructors ,broadcasters ,and spaces channels ,The captain talked about his autobiography and his activities in the field of flying ,his

physical endurance, and his entering the space with a Russian airplane and his entering to Genes encyclopedia for regular numbers ,the students showed their happiness by such meeting with Iraqi talent person and globally famous this  meeting motivated them to work hard in all life aspects in order to serve their dear country .

* With the guardianship of Dr .Nada AlAnsari the dean of the college of science for women the college established a session entitled (The use of modern  techniques in teaching) on Tuesday 27th of April 2010. A number of personalities attended this seminar like Dr. Emad AL Hussani the head of the national staff of computers, Dr. Mohammed Attea Al Ssarag the manager of search and development at the ministry of higher education and

scientific research , Dr. Nabeel Khadem ,the dean of the Engineering college /Al Khwarizmi, and Dr. Khssan Abdel Hameed. the manager of computer center at Baghdad university.

* Sponsored by Mrs. Dean, Dr. Nada Al-Ansari, and with the presence of a large number of teaching staff and students at the college,  the Department of Chemistry organized specialist symposium under the title (Drugs: types and treatment) on Sunday, 11/4/2010 at Al- Mustafa hall in the College . The symposium began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and then followed by a speech form the president of the preparatory committee, Dr. Perry Habib Saifullah.

* A number of college instructors gained a reward from the high minister of higher education and scientific research on science day the 6th of April 2010 on Al Hakeem hall with the attendance of great number of instructors and researchers from all the governments and Iraqi universities ,they are given an e

valuation certificates and appreciations rewards for their scientific efforts ,they are:-

1-Ast.Prof AdnanSaleh Al Ethawi/Physics Dept. for patent on an invention.

2-Asst.prof Deaa Hamdi Hakeem /Physics Dept.

3-Asst. prof Ahlaam Mohammed Farhan /Physics Dept.

For their cleverness in publishing of more than three researches in valid scientific aspects  in 2009.
